Hi Toolbox Fans,
Tonight Jeffrey and I will be LIVE and digging in to the week ahead. The market activity we have seen lately has been incredible. We have a HUGE rally off the recent lows and by any measure it has been a low volume move.
This move has largly been driven by the Euro gaining strength and a weakening US Dollar. When the dollars are worth less, the stocks are worth more. Make no mistake though. The Euro is actually weak and as long as their banking chaos continues it will remain so.
The rallies and roll-overs that we are seeing are driven on a short-term news cycle that is usually rumor and innuendo that there is or isnt a solution to the crisis in the works.
As a result... It has been a tough trading enviroment in most cases and very few trusted and reliable strategies have been working particularly well.
Many times when markets get "volatile" the answer is to reduce your time frame and "roll with the changes", however in THIS environmet the markets are crying out for even MORE nimple strategies and that is why I am sending along this e-mail I got from Jeffrey.
