Hi Toolbox Fans,
I hope everyone had a nice three day weekend. The markets are closed today for President's Day and we are doing "The Week Ahead Monday Night Edition".
Last night I posted a film from Frontline about what went on inside the financial collapse of 2008. You can see it here if you missed out and it was interesting to see how it all unfolded from the "inside".
Tonight Jeffrey and I will be LIVE at 8pm eastern time. We will take a look at the week ahead and these are interesting times indeed. Unrest is spilling all over the middle east and we even have a week long dispute going on in various places across the USA.
It would appear that the banking crisis, debt crisis and budget problems are still with us and coming home to roost in state budget talks all across this great nation.
Those of you that have been with us long enough know that we maintain there will be no solutions to any of these problems without wholesale monetary reform.
Debt based currency owned by private banks was a bad idea to begin with and destined to funnel the wealth of the nation into the hands of the banking elites. Now here we are with most of the people, cities, states and nations of the world facing insurmountable debts and instituting savage "austerity" programs.
This is a problem that was hidden for the last 100 years as economic growth and ever more lending masked the true nature of just how absurd the idea is.
Now that the economy has slowed to the point where growth can no longer hide the effects of the debt based system more and more problems are coming to light. Pension funds under-funded, state budgets in serious trouble and no real solutions in sight no matter how many spending cuts or tax increases the people are willing to put up with.
I wish more people were aware of the nature of the problem so we could at least begin the discussion of how to actually fix our financial system and once again make money the servant of humanity rather than the master.
As always we'll be taking your questions LIVE on the spot and bring you even more news that you probably missed in the main stream media.
