November 24, 2010 Dear Toolbox Readers,
Thanksgiving is here and with it the holiday season is upon us. I want to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season no matter what holidays you enjoy with your family.
What am I thankful for this year?
I am thankful that we have the real information we need thanks to bloggers who are doing the real heavy lifting that the media should do.
I am thankful that I have my family and that we are all happy and healthy.
I am thankful that I have already loaded up on some storable food and I am thankful for you... our readers and customers who make what we do here possible.
Now let's dig in...
Have you ever wondered how it is that "they" can say the recession is over and the economy is growing and yet at the same time we see thousands lining up in the "bread lines" and 42 million people on food stamps?
Statistically BOTH CASES ARE TRUE!
I read a great article at ZeroHedge that picks through the data and makes heads & tails out of it. Read The Article Here...
Another interesting piece of the pie... especially today as the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index "beat expectations"... see why here...
Just another "cooked" piece of data to make us all "feel better" about the destruction of the "real" economy.
I like to be a glass half full kinda guy... but faced with all the BS in the media and coming out of government I have to dig out the real facts to avoid be lead around by the nose like the rest of the sheeple.
Due to the holidays this week we will not be having any more LIVE shows until Sunday night at 8pm Eastern when the Week Ahead on the Market Toolbox LIVE will be back and getting ready for the open on Monday. We'll see you Sunday night at 8pm Eastern!
Thanks for your time, attention and trust.
We appreciate you!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Until Next Time...
Best Wishes and Good Investing,
