Trader's Update

04 / 14 / 2008

Dateline: 6:45 pm eastern time, 04/14/2008

Back in January we got a buy signal from the BPNDX (The Nasdaq
Bullish Percent Index) that still seems to be holding up
even though the markets have not been able to put together
a meaningful rally.

We're still higher than we were back then and not anywhere
near a sell signal so time will tell I guess.

As far as short-term trading goes we have see some excellent
trades set up and follow through nicely as the broader
market struggles to find direction.

We're working on some new tools in-house that will generate
precision trading signals and we cant't wait to release it.

That will still be a while.

Today the Momentum picks were loaded with solar stocks again
like TSL, picked at 9:32am at 38.80 and finished the day at
43.95, nice.

Then there was JASO picked at 21.60 and closed at 23.32.

and finally we got CSIQ at 24.63 and it closed at 25.64 all
three were big gainers.

The solar stocks have been great trading stocks for the past
few months

Energy and energy services lead the way in the ETF dashboard
today and on a YTD basis the best sectors are commodities
like oil, silver, gold and here is a stinger... home builders.

We see some interesting things as we watch time go by in the
dashboard YTD and especially on the today's market pages.

ETF's are fantastic trading vehicles and you should learn
more about them.

Not all ETFs are created equal, so be sure to open the toolbox,
go to the ETF center and learn more.

Remember, the IRS tax sales ends Wednesday.
