WOW! Who saw that coming. Finally we see a good week in the market.

When we look to see how many stocks are trading above their own moving averages we see literally every time slot is showing big gains from yesterday, last week, and last month. That is a strong rally.
Looking back further we are new highs for the last 3 months breaking through and holding the february highs.
The DOW index is getting close to being flat on the year and that took some doing.
It's funny how big losses by the banks and GOOG making a fortune on the falling dollar can be "good news" for the market pushing it even higher.
The good news was the bankers didn't lose as much as the analysts thought they would and Google does not give guidance so they were in the dark on that move completely.
Typically of late the markets have sold off going into the weekends.
I suppose people are nervous about what can happen if you are holding overnight or worse...over the entire weekend ie; Bear Sterns.
One of our favorite traders rarely, if ever holds a trade overnight. He does not like to get any shocking surprises in the morning and I am sure we have all lived through that.
I don't have to explain to you the pain and shock you feel when you're caught on the wrong side of the trade all of the sudden.
Don Harrold is his name and we are going to do a free online trading seminar with him next week and I am sure you'll want to listen in.
He has some trading videos and market commentary that has just been burning up the servers over at YouTube. Don likes to poke fun at the "Mainstream Wall Street Fat Cats" in his videos and I must say they are damn entertaining.
This Week for Traders...
It was a wild week and we saw some really huge winners in the Research Lab.
Speaking of that I want to thank everyone that got in on the tax sale this week. We really appreciated the huge response.
I do feel bad about one thing though...
In the ten years that we have been doing business online I have never let a sale run longer than the expiration date mentioned in the sale.
I always went in and "expired" the order page so that people will know that when I say the sale ends at midnight... the sale ends at midnight.
This time I got a surprise as we have upgraded the order form technology and I found out at midnight that I no longer had a way to expire the page.
You should know that we have fixed that now and so it will be easier for me to do next time.
So... I am sorry if you thought I was just "playing" with the sale ending. I am a man of my word, but I suppose congratulations are in order for those six people that slipped in after the deadline.

This Week for Investors...
Have you seen the leveraged ETFs... boy there is some money to be made with those babies.
For example, Did you know that Ultra Semiconductors USD is down over 30% so far in the last 3 months. OUCH!
