Dear Toolbox Readers,

Last week we told you about the Leveraged ETFs and said that you might want to look at entry points for the double longs...

Who could have for seen the global market rollover that transpired since we sent the e-mail just last Friday.

In all honesty it was a day to be on the sidelines and letting it all play out. But just for giggles let's look anyway.

The Double Longs took hold today with some staggering gains after the market fell apart at the open.

This is interesting so pay attention...

Why is this interesting?

Because the market data at yahoo and various other financial portals will not reflect these gains that you could have pocketed.

You see they are going to show you what happened since Friday's close..

In the Research lab we work from the opening ticks to populate the "pick lists" for the day...

The ETF Dashboard will compare to the previous close, but each day in the "Daily Market Bias" List, you'll get the "intra-day action"

Let's take a look at the Double Long ETFs from the open today.

The UWM is "double long" the Russell 2000 and the QLD is "double long" the QQQQ. SSO is "double long" the S&P 500 and the DDM is "double long" the DOW 30.

I am sure that if you look at any financial web site you are going to see all those ticker symbols down for the day... But we know better

The Real Deal in the Research lab is the stock picks... and even today... with markets in panic mode the Research Lab pulled out some HUGE winners.

For instance there were some picks today that were up more than 10% in just one day... let's see... 24 of them... not bad.

There were literally dozens of winners in the Research Lab today but some were truly stunning. 73.4%, 35.31%... 29.20% you get the idea.

I am not saying I would have traded any of them or that you should have either, but it's good to know that even with markets like this the Research Lab can deliver the goods.
