09/08/13 ~ The Week Ahead...
Dear Toolbox Readers,
The time has come. This will be a week to remember.
Congress comes back to work on Monday and they have a plate full even if Syria were not on the table. The budget, the debt-limit and more are looming. Tuesday night the President will make his case to the American people about striking Syria in a military way and I expect a full blown bonanza of punditry until the congress either accepts or rejects Obama's proposal.
There is a smattering of economic data coming out this week for US markets and if you like to take a wider look like I do, you can always find a lot of globally significant data to be released.
The Fed is supposedly going to decide on the much anticipated "taper" next week and that should make for an interesting round financial punditry as well.
Compared to some things we are facing all this stuff is light-hearted fun. I won't go into that now and I am may not even get to it tonight but we are in for one hell of a ride. The things that I see on the horizon may be released in a special report soon. Stay Tuned.
There is only one thing that really matters though and that is what does it all mean for you. If the market starts tanking and geopolitical issues start spinning out of control what happens next?
How would you know when it is "safe and prudent" to move to the sidelines? That one is fairly simple to assess and even to execute, there is just one obstacle to overcome.
How does one trade and invest in what is surely an "uncertain environment"? On a day-to-day basis, how can you grow your wealth with minimal downside risk?
This too is not that hard to do, but again there are obstacles. There are answers to these questions and everyone wonders how to get them.
