Welcome: 03/31/13 ~ Tonight... Easter Dinner with The Family!
 
Hi Toolbox Fans,
 
Tonight I will be having a big Easter Sunday dinner with the whole extended family over at Grandma Jones'. It will be a big get together with my wife's family and no doubt a good time will be had by all.
 
I did not post a documentary tonight because there are a couple other things I want to update you on....
 
The first quarter of the year is already behind us and earnings season will be starting again soon. Many are calling for the market to pull back a bit but as I look at the charts it seems we might be doing enough "work" under the highs to actually break out and move even higher.
 
Last year April 1st was the best day to sell the market and go on vacation for the summer. We will have to see what this year brings.
 
As I updated the "Market Timing" portfolio in the Research Lab this weekend I noticed that we have 5 holdings long and 5 holdings on the sidelines. ALL were on the right side of the trends and so we had no changes to record as the month ended.
 
I also took a look at my DOGS of the DOW portfolio and the results so far this year are pretty damn strong... Check these out.
 
HPQ up 67.3%,   JNJ up 16.3%,   PFE up 15.07%,   VZ up 13.59%,   MCD up 13.01%,   GE up 10.15%,   DD up 9.29%,   T up 8.84%,   MRK up 7.96% and   INTC up 5.87%. WOW!
 
Bill has also been posting some great trade set-ups on the blog all year and we have seen many intra-day stock trades that come off the real-time stock pick grid.
